I am writing this letter from Ankara; Turkey. I am one of the owners of Lancer in my country for 2 years. Since the new generation Lancer has announced I have always admired this version of Mitsubishi's handsome automobile. I really love this brand and I think Mitsubishi is one of the best brand that shows Japanese characteristics to the world.
I know Europe is the hardest market to sell your automobile's and day by day it becomes really hard to keep up with the standards. Also you know nationalism is another topic that foreign manufacturers struggle. But especially new South Korean automobiles (i30, Cee'd) has shown us; if brands from Far East can produce cars better than any other European car and increase the sales with the help of smart optional packages, better engine-gearbox integration and increasing interior quality. I think it does not difficult to see some features such as soft touch materials,new-tech automatic gearbox selections, better interior design etc are need to be added to your products to sell your cars. Look at Hyundai. It was a brand established by Mitsubishi's technologies but now they multiple Mitsubishi's sales. Isn't it a bad situation?
I really wonder about the future of this Industrial Giant in Europe. Every and every product that we see from the air conditioner to elevator, forum power processing plants to ships have a respectful quality in their field. Why do not you give the real attention, real pressure and enthusiast as your other heavy industry class to your automotive department. You have many legends such as Evolution series in rally, Pajero in off-road conditions, Canter in commercial vehicles why would not you continue and watch dying of Mitsubishi-Motors between other brands? i-MiEV is the biggest innovation about electric cars but we can not see the successful sales report. I believe that if Mitsubishi wants; it can produce better quality in any segment of their automobiles. With my full heart I want to say that please do not make us have to buy any other models of worthless automobile brands.
Another thing that I would like to mention is the distributor of Mitsubishi in Turkey which is TEMSA. This distributor gives all their attention to sale commercial vehicles. The consequence of this strategy is obviously unsatisfied Mitsubishi owners. Because TEMSA can not answer the customers needs. For an example, we are waiting for just Cruise Control option to add our Invite package since Lancer arrived our country. I am not joking, since 2008 we can not buy a Lancer with Cruise Control option. Even Colt, ASX, L200, Pajero has Cruise Control and all the wishes
to have Cruise Control delivered to TEMSA turned us negatively. Please help and save us TEMSA or make them to answer our needs.
